USING CRYSTALS TO ENHANCE TAROT READINGS

To use or not to use crystals with tarot readings…  In my opinion, crystals can be programmed with the intent for the reading theme which will enhance reading results.  That, or they can be put on or around or on decks to protect them from any negativity.

I have a set of crystals and gemstones that resonate with the chakras for the client to choose from-one or several that I call my “Pet Rocks”.  I have a small sign with them that reads, “Pet Rocks” Feel free to pet us! The client can choose whichever one(s) their higher self guides them to and hold them during the reading.  This gives me an idea of where any blockages and issues may be coming from concerning their question, and since I am an empath, I am able to tune into my client’s needs through the stones. The stones help me know what to look for specifically in the reading.

“Keep the deck surrounded by a circle of clear quartz crystals to cleanse and protect the deck as well as charge it.”  I got this idea from Little Red Tarot.  She also suggests keeping a crystal for your intended purpose around during readings. For example, for doing a reading on love, rose quartz can help infuse the reading.

Here are stones that I keep on my reading table:

Red-carnelian-tells me the client may be having intimacy issues

Yellow-citrine-emotions and gut feelings/couple this stone with a smokey quartz for emotional balance-hold them both together at the same time.

Green-Jade-calming and soothing--feeling of warm fuzzy

Pink-Rose Quartz-loving vibrations/question most likely will involve a relationship

Blue-Blue obsidian-help with communication (Any blue stone will do.)

Purple-Amethyst-integrate reading through crown chakra

Black Tourmaline-grounding

Amber and Jet-protective for the person doing the reading

Clear Quartz-you can pre-program it for whatever purpose you want, just make your client aware of its purpose since s/he is going to be handling it and exposed to the stone’s vibrational purpose.

These meanings work for me, but you can choose whatever stones that you want to and assign specific meanings to them. Just let your querent know what they represent.  There’s no specific amount of stones they can choose and are only limited by how many you choose to have out on your table for your querent to bond with. Between each client, you will want to cleanse whatever stones were used in the reading.  You can spray them with rose water or hold them with a clear quartz crystal and mentally ask that they be cleansed and ready for the next person to handle.  Cleanse them in whatever way works for you.
